  A quaint watering hole at one end of Broadway. The best stop for all day pub lunch. The menu is long and has many options - small to large and healthy to indulgent. Service is good. Beer garden out front for good weather.

  Dined with a group of 18 purple. At the end of a pre-ordered meal (in which I had a salad) I asked the waiter for gluten-free options regarding dessert, given that everyone else was ordering dessert. Waiter simply didn't give me details of what I could have. 20 mins later after asking him a second time, he brought in a black folder clearly intended for staff to use and handed this to me without any explanation.
  How was this helpful to a customer?
  Management need to catch up with other venues and indicate on their main menu what food is suitable for people with food intolerances and food allergies. This is common practice elsewhere.
  Same waiter had failed to deliver a drink that I had ordered during the meal and a side dish to my salad. I calmly told him how I was unimpressed with his service upon the third issue (the black folder) to which he walked away, rather than try to resolve the issue.
  As a customer, I have only left a written comment owing to management requesting I do so after a one star post.
  
  Unimpressed. Your team have let you down. So too, the non-specific menu.

  My favourite eatery in Broadway though we didn't have a bad meal anywhere. Great menu, very tasty food and very friendly staff in a beautiful Cotswold building.
