  We had a high quality bar meal accompanied with good wine and excellent local beers. It's been modernised since we last visited and has been tastefully done, keeping it's traditional, authentic charm. We realised last night that it's dog friendly so would take the dog too next time!

  Really enjoyed my Light Lunch here. It was a nice, former courtyard space, and the lunch was light as advertised, but beautifully presented and yummy.

  Stopped in for lunch, nicely kept, grand building. Ate on the pub side as we have a couple of dogs (so yes, dog friendly). I had the beef hot pot, and my wife had f&c - both were very nice, good portions.
  
  Ale on tap was a plus, they just rolled out their new house drop - "The Jockey" and I can recommend that.

  Came here yesterday for the first time and must say the food was gorgeous (Sunday roast), the staff were friendly and the general atmosphere of the place was just lovely. Will definitely be back again soon. Thanks!
