  Birthday meal- we visited the Barrington Grill for my birthday evening. The atmosphere was cosy and informal. We ordered burger and pie which were delicious and I would recommend the chips! For dessert my wife ordered a chocolate gateaux which was fabulous and a great surprise but a huge portion for two people and we will be living off this for a week. I would go back again and the service was good and only negative was it was a little cold despite sitting next to the fire.

  Amazing place for afternoon tea although some of the sandwiches were quite dry. Scones were amazing!

  The staff are really nice, I didn't stay or at, only a drink while waiting for my wife. They are dog friendly I would say in most areas other than the restaurant as there were a few dogs about. The building dates back beyond the 17th century, and I would absolutely love to come back to Broadway and stay at the hotel.
  
  * I was chatting with one of the staff and he mentioned they are getting a renovation in the coming months.

  Attentive service but the price is too high for the quality of food and we ordered one thing but got given something else without being informed they'd run out. Bizarrely they either thought we wouldn't notice or it wasn't worth telling us there was a problem. We were then asked to pay the same as the original order. Very poor and made me Quite angry how they handled it. Far too expensive.
